WHAT IS
BEADBOARD?
Beadboard is a type of wainscoting that features a series of vertical grooves, or “beads,” running the length of the panel. It is typically made from thin sheets of wood veneer or MDF (medium-density fiberboard) and is commonly used to add texture and visual interest to walls and ceilings. Beadboard can be installed either vertically or horizontally and is often used in traditional or farmhouse-style homes. It can be painted or stained to match the existing decor or left natural for a rustic look.
